We are seeking a talented Cosmetic Registered Nurse & Laser Therapist to join our team in Teneriffe, QLD. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to develop expertise in the growing field of cosmetic and laser treatments. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a modern, patient-centred environment, delivering both nursing expertise and advanced laser therapy services. You will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their aesthetic goals whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Administer cosmetic treatments and procedures including laser therapies with precision and professionalism
- Conduct detailed patient consultations to understand treatment goals, assess suitability and discuss expectations
- Perform skin assessments and provide personalised treatment recommendations
- Operate and maintain cosmetic and laser equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Educate patients on pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions
- Monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe and sterile treatment environment at all times
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, infection control standards and professional nursing codes of conduct
- Support the wider team to deliver exceptional patient experiences
What we’re looking for
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Valid Laser Safety Certification or willingness to obtain this qualification
- Proven experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated experience in cosmetic nursing or aesthetic medicine (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of laser technology, skin anatomy and cosmetic treatment protocols
- Excellent patient communication and consultation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Qualified presentation and genuine passion for aesthetic nursing
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
