This is a permanent part-time position based entirely at our Dandenong South office. The hours are approximately 15 per week across two or three days. Wednesday is a required workday for payroll processing. The role reports to the General Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll from start to finish for approximately 12 employees, including STP reporting and superannuation administration
- Process supplier invoices and prepare supplier payments
- Prepare and upload payroll and supplier payment files to CBA for approval by an authorised signatory
- Reconcile bank accounts and sales takings from three tills, investigating any discrepancies
- Prepare BAS and maintain supporting records
- Attend to banking and general office administration, including stationery orders
- Keep accurate financial records and work directly with the General Manager on day-to-day bookkeeping matters
About you
- Established hands-on bookkeeping experience, including end-to-end payroll and supplier payments
- Accuracy,
sound judgement and the ability to manage recurring weekly deadlines independently
- Care and discretion when handling financial and employee information
- A genuine preference for an ongoing part-time, office-based role
- Experience with Pronto Xi and CBA online banking would be helpful

We're hoping to meet someone who is genuinely looking for a stable position of around 15 hours per week for the foreseeable future. This is an experienced bookkeeping position, rather than an entry-level accounting role or a pathway to full-time hours.
