Peak Hill District Hospital in rural NSW is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract starting 12 October 2026. This is a hands‑on role in a busy ED environment where you’ll bring your clinical expertise and leadership skills to support the team through to the end of the year.

- 12-week contract in a rural emergency department setting
- Lead clinical care and support the ED team as an In Charge nurse
- Work with a team that values experienced practitioners who can hit the ground running

Preferred Requirements

- Solid emergency department experience with demonstrated clinical competence
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Experience working in an In Charge or senior nursing capacity
- Strong assessment and prioritisation skills in a rapid‑paced ED environment
- Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in emergency nursing
- Additional emergency-focused certifications (such as TNCC or ENCC) are advantageous
