Total Care Dental & Collins Street Dental are looking for Dental Assistant/Receptionists to join our friendly teams.
We are currently seeking both full-time and part time team members to work across our two practices, Total Care Dental and Collins Street Dental .
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a busy, supportive dental team. You will work across both reception and dental assisting, helping ensure our patients receive a welcoming and seamless experience from the moment they contact the practice through to their treatment and follow-up care.
You will work closely with our dentists, clinical team and reception team, while also playing an important role in sterilisation, infection control and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organisation expected across our practices.
About the Role
- Answering phone enquiries and assisting patients with appointment bookings
- Managing patient enquiries and providing friendly, professional customer service
- Reception administration, accounts and processing payments via EFTPOS and HICAPS
- Preparing treatment rooms, patients and equipment for dental procedures
- Chairside assisting and supporting our dentists during treatment
- Instrument sterilisation and maintaining infection control standards
- Assisting with the general organisation and smooth day-to-day running of the practices
- Building positive relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable and well cared for
- Working collaboratively with the teams across Total Care Dental and Collins Street Dental
We are open to applicants seeking full-time or part-time employment , with flexibility depending on availability and the needs of our practices.
About You
- 1+ years' experience working within the dental industry is preferred but not essential
- Experience across dental assisting and/or reception is highly regarded
- Knowledge of CareStack software is an advantage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident and comfortable interacting with patients
- Energetic, organised and proactive, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and willing to work as part of a team across both locations
- A caring and friendly personality with a genuine focus on patient care
