We're seeking an experienced Diploma Educator to join a highly regarded community kindergarten in Birchip, Victoria .

This is a permanent part-time position of approximately 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday , with the option to work additional casual hours on Fridays if desired.

For eligible candidates, a $9,000 attraction incentive is also available.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across both 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs , contribute to quality educational outcomes and be part of Victoria's exciting Pre-Prep rollout .

About the Service

Located onsite at Birchip P-12 College , this sessional kindergarten is closely connected with the local community and provides a welcoming, collaborative environment for children, families and educators.

With Long Day Care also operating onsite ,



you’ll be part of a broader early childhood community and have opportunities to build strong professional relationships across the service.

This is a setting where educators can make a genuine contribution, get to know their children and families well, and see the impact of their work within the community.

About the Role

As a Diploma Educator, you will:

- Support the delivery of engaging, high-quality educational programs across 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten
- Contribute to curriculum planning, documentation and assessment
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teachers and the wider community
- Contribute to an inclusive, welcoming and engaging learning environment
- Share your ideas, experience and passion for early childhood education

About You

We’re looking for an Educator who:

- Holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Has previous experience working in an early childhood setting beyond student placement
- Is confident contributing to programming, documentation and assessment
- Builds genuine relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
- Is cooperative, reliable and willing to become part of a regional community

Please note: This position is best suited to educators who have gained practical experience in an early childhood setting outside of student placement experience.
