Stealth Group Holdings
Perth
We’re Stealth Group Holdings (ASX: SGI), Australia’s leading independent distributor, retailer and reseller serving the workplace and home across hardware, home improvement, building supplies, industrial MRO, safety and consumer technology products. Our businesses include Heatleys, C&L; Tool Centre, Force Technology and Hardware & Building Traders (HBT), a national buying group supporting more than 1,000 independent hardware and trade stores.
HBT became part of Stealth Group Holdings in 2025, providing the backing of a broader Australian industrial, hardware, trade and distribution group. We are now expanding further into the trade market, and this new role will lead that growth across WA.
This is a group role, not a role within any one of our brands. You’ll draw on our range, supply and buying power across the whole group to win customers none of our businesses reach today.
You’ll take a robust offer, real buying power and established brands into markets where we’re not yet a name: construction and residential building, mining and mining services, facilities management, utilities and the trades. There’s no book to inherit. You’ll decide where to go, open the doors, and build it.
Not a pitch person. A business builder.
The best people in this role don’t lead with the sell. They ask the questions others don’t, listen properly, and work out what’s really going on in a customer’s business: margin pressure, supply problems, a supplier who’s let them down, a project pipeline they can’t service. Then they put together an offer that fits. That’s how trust is built, and that’s how customers are won and kept.
What you’ll do
- Map the WA market and pick where to win: sectors, regions, target businesses
- Get in front of owners, procurement leads and site decision-makers, and earn the second conversation
- Understand how each customer buys and what isn’t working for them now
- Build offers that bring together the best of the group: range, supply, buying power and service
- Take opportunities from first conversation through to long-term account
- Work with our sales, marketing, warehousing and distribution teams to deliver what you’ve promised
- Bring market intelligence back every week: who’s buying what, from whom, and where the gaps are
- Forecast your wins accurately every week, because the business buys and stocks against your forecast
- Keep your pipeline and Pipedrive honest and current
You’ll be the right person if you
- Have genuinely built new business in building, construction, hardware, timber or industrial, and can tell us exactly how you won it
- Know the WA market and the people in it
- Are a curious, sharp listener who knows the best salespeople talk less
- Can sell across a broad range, from timber and building materials to fasteners and consumables, and know which conversation to lead with
- Understand the commercial side of a trade business: pricing, margin, rebates, cash flow
- Get energy from opening doors and don’t need anyone to tell you where to go next
- Follow through, so customers still take your call a year later
What success looks like
In your first 90 days you’ll know the market, have your target list and plan in place, and have a pipeline you can stand behind. After that,
it’s about new customers won, revenue growing, and our name coming up in WA trade and building conversations.
