Concrete Plant Manager

Hymix Bunbury Bunbury, WA | Full Time

About the Role

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, productive and profitable operation of the Hymix Bunbury concrete plant. Leading a team of production and delivery personnel, you will ensure the plant consistently delivers outstanding service while maintaining Hymix’s high standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and promote a strong safety-first culture across all plant operations
- Manage daily concrete production and dispatch activities to meet customer requirements
- Manage budgets, reporting and performance metrics to achieve business objectives
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity and cost control initiatives ensuring compliance with company policies, environmental requirements and relevant regulations
- Manage plant maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability and availability
- Lead, coach and develop plant employees, fostering a high-performance team culture
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders

About You

You are a proactive and capable operational leader with a passion for safety, people leadership and delivering exceptional customer outcomes. To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience managing a concrete, quarry, manufacturing, logistics or industrial operation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach and develop teams
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Sound commercial acumen and experience managing operational costs and performance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills




- Experience in the construction materials industry will be highly regarded
