Lanson Partners are partnering with a agile, highly collaborative 2LOD Compliance team on a Senior Manager equivalent FCC role encompassing broad duties relating to FCC Advisory, Policy, Projects, Risk Assessments and more.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Act as a trusted financial crime subject matter expert, providing pragmatic advice to senior leaders and stakeholders on AML/CTF, proliferation financing, sanctions and broader financial crime risks.
- Monitor emerging financial crime risks, regulatory developments and industry trends, recommending enhancements to frameworks, policies and controls.
- Develop, maintain and enhance the AML/CTF Program, policies and standards to support regulatory compliance and industry best practice.
- Provide second-line oversight and challenge of financial crime systems, data, processes and controls, supporting continuous improvement.
- Provide financial crime input and challenge across risk assessments, new products and services,
delivery channels and material change initiatives.
- Contribute to the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment and other financial crime risk assessments.
- Support the management of financial crime incidents and breaches, including regulatory impact assessment, root-cause analysis, remediation and regulatory notifications.
- Conduct second-line assurance and oversight activities when required and support the effective implementation of audit and review findings.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience in an APRA regulated banking institution
- Minimum of 5 years FCC experience (either in Advisory specific role or broader)
- Self-motivated and strong communication and influencing skills.
- A collaborative style willing to support team members on a variety of work.
Must have Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.
