As a Paper Machine Service Engineer, you will become a trusted technical resource for paper mill customers across Australia. You will support customers with paper machine inspections and audits, troubleshooting and problem solving, shutdown planning and execution, maintenance and reliability improvement, machine rebuilds and upgrades, performance optimisation, technical reporting and recommendations, and development of service opportunities and customer relationships. The role requires frequent travel throughout Australia and occasional travel to New Zealand.

About you
- Significant hands-on paper machine experience gained in a paper mill setting
- Strong practical knowledge of paper machine operation and maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting operational and mechanical issues
- Ability to work directly with operators, maintenance teams, engineers, and mill management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Unrestricted rights to live and work in Australia
- Engineering, trade, paper technology, or equivalent industry qualifications (preferred)
- Experience in shutdowns, machine audits, rebuilds, or commissioning activities (preferred)
- Exposure to stock preparation, forming, press, drying, winding, finishing, or related paper machine systems (preferred)
