Tech Lead: Microsoft Fabric / Data Engineer
Must-haves

- 7+ years in data engineering, with consulting experience
- Expert in Microsoft Fabric, with hands-on delivery across Pipelines, Warehouse, Lakehouse and Power BI
- Strong PySpark, including complex transformation logic and knowing how to tune and use Spark properly (partitioning, , cluster/capacity use etc)
- Strong SQL
- Strong Data Modelling
- Architecture and functional design: can take a requirement and turn it into a solution that is well understood and communicated
- Proven team lead who has run a delivery team and provided technical leadership
- Can co-ordinate a delivery team
- Works well with Project Team and client on project goals and mitigation strategies
- Pro-active sense of delivery




- Technically solid and is the go to person for complex functional and technical items for resolution

- Strong communicator who can advise clients, challenge assumptions and manage stakeholders
- Proactive: spots risks and issues early, mitigates them, and can show examples

Preferred

- Full-stack or software engineering background
- Experience with Fabric Real Time Hub is a bonus
- Consulting or professional services delivery experience
- Fabric, Power BI, or relevant data engineering certifications
- Has loyalty, doesn't jump around from job to job
