About the Role
RSPCA Victoria is looking for a creative and tech-savvy Digital Education Officer to join our Education and Training team. In this role, you’ll design and develop engaging online learning experiences that build knowledge, influence behaviour and improve animal welfare outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and developing engaging online learning programs for staff, volunteers, schools, communities, professionals and other audiences.
- Creating interactive eLearning modules, videos, assessments and digital resources using platforms such as Articulate, Moodle, ACORN and Microsoft Office.
- Working with subject matter experts across RSPCA Victoria to develop accurate, engaging and impactful content.
- Managing and troubleshooting digital learning platforms, resolving technical issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Researching emerging digital learning tools and approaches to enhance learner engagement and program outcomes.
- Collecting and analysing learning data to measure impact and inform continuous improvement.
- Supporting the delivery of education programs, including school programs, Certificate II and III in Animal Studies and short courses, as required.
- Working collaboratively across the organisation to deliver high-quality digital learning experiences.
What we are looking for from you
If you’re a creative and innovative learning professional with strong digital skills and a passion for education and animal welfare, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining successful online learning programs.
- Strong technical skills in online course development and multimedia.
- Experience in teaching, learning and development or a similar role.
- Knowledge of animal welfare and animal care practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to exploring new technologies and improving digital learning experiences.
Highly Regarded
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Bachelor’s degree in Teaching/Education, and/or video production and graphic design skills.
Recruitment Requirements
- Current and valid driver’s licence.
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
- Current tetanus vaccination or willingness to obtain
