Are you an experienced waiter looking to move away from late nights and weekend work without leaving premium hospitality behind?
We are recruiting an experienced Boardroom Waiter to join a professional corporate hospitality team in Sydney CBD.
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position delivering polished food and beverage service across executive boardrooms, meeting rooms, corporate functions and events.
You’ll join an established hospitality team, working alongside two other full-time Waiters and reporting directly to the Waiter Team Leader.
The Role
You’ll provide professional, discreet and attentive service to clients, executives and guests in a premium corporate environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Boardroom and meeting room food and beverage service
- Setting and resetting rooms for meetings and functions
- Serving breakfasts, lunches, refreshments and corporate events
- Providing professional table and tray service
- Ensuring boardrooms and service areas are presented to a high standard
- Liaising with the kitchen and wider hospitality team
- Assisting with corporate functions and occasional evening events
- Maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards
Hours & Roster
This is a Monday-to-Friday, 38-hour-per-week role.
Your roster will vary depending on business requirements, with typical shifts including:
- 7:00am–3:00pm
- 8:00am–4:00pm
- 9:00am–5:00pm
- 10:30am–6:30pm
There will occasionally be earlier starts for corporate breakfasts or later finishes for evening events.
Additional hours are paid as overtime, with:
- Time-and-a-half for the first 3 hours
- Double time thereafter
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings genuine hospitality experience and understands the level of service expected in a professional corporate environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in corporate hospitality, boardroom service, hotels, premium restaurants or events
- Strong food and beverage service skills
- Excellent personal presentation
- A professional and confident communication style
- The ability to provide discreet and attentive service
- Strong attention to detail
- The flexibility to work across the varying Monday-to-Friday shifts
- A team-focused approach and willingness to assist wherever required
