APP Painting is seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will carry out painting and surface preparation work on residential and commercial projects, maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Examine surfaces and prepare them for painting by sanding, scraping, filling holes, repairing cracks and removing old paint.
- Apply primers, paints, varnishes and other protective coatings to internal and external surfaces.
- Mix and match paints to achieve the required colours, textures and finishes.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers and spray-painting equipment.
- Protect surrounding surfaces, furniture, fixtures and fittings before commencing painting work.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and organised.




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members to complete painting projects within agreed timeframes.

Skills and Experience

- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or Relevant painting qualifications.
- At least one year of equivalent practical experience in painting.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application and finishing techniques.
- Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Employment Conditions

- Full-time employment.
- Salary of AUD $80,000–$90,000 per annum plus superannuation.
- Work location: Braybrook, Victoria, and other project sites as required.
