About the OrganisationOur client is an established Steadfast brokerage with a presence in several states.The business specialises in commercial insurance, and its personal lines clients largely come through its commercial relationships.The personal lines team sits within the Commercial division and has offshore processing support.
About the RoleWe're recruiting a Personal Lines Account Manager to join the team in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs.You'll take over an established book of personal lines clients and be responsible for keeping and servicing it. Processing is handled by an offshore support team, so your time goes into clients, renewals and insurer relationships.This is a retention and service role, not a new business sales role.
Responsibilities include:

- Managing an existing portfolio of personal lines clients from day one
- Handling renewals, quotations and policy changes across prestige motor and home, caravan, farm, boats, landlords and strata
- Looking after personal lines clients referred through the commercial team
- Directing processing work to the offshore support team and checking it is accurate
- Keeping client records current in WinBeat and OfficeTech

About YouYou'll have personal lines account management experience with a brokerage, covering more than one of the classes above. You don't need many years of experience, but you need to know what you're doing.You'll be Tier 1 compliant and comfortable with technology. Training in WinBeat and OfficeTech is provided, and you'll be expected to pick them up within a reasonable timeframe.
