- A National Quality Framework-recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent, or actively working towards one.
- Proven experience providing education and care for children from birth to five years, including children with additional needs.
- The ability to lead, support and guide other educators, students and volunteers.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, caring approach to working with children, families and the local community.
- Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card), National Criminal History Check, First Aid, asthma and anaphylaxis management training.
- A robust appreciation of Indigenous culture and genuine enthusiasm for living and working in a remote community.
