Thorburn Australia is a small electrical engineering consultancy based in Townsville servicing Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. We have been established for over 15 years and specialise in control systems for mining, water, waste water and metal processing plants.
With a large number of projects on the books, we now have an exciting opportunity for an electrical engineer to join our team.
You will possess a high degree of computer literacy and an ability to adapt to a wide range of fields including power distribution, protection and metering, variable speed drives, PLC's, SCADA, functional safety, hazardous areas and instrumentation.
Previous electrical trade experience would be a bonus but not necessary and graduates to RPEQ engineers are encouraged to apply.
Our engineers enjoy a casual, fun workplace with adaptable working hours and interesting work. Some travel away will be required at times. Working from home at times is also possible.
If you would like to know more, or wish to apply for the role, please submit your application including your cover letter and CV to **************@taec.com.au.
