As part of our continued growth agenda, we are building a core team to develop, enhance and expand our service offering. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in that team and in the continued development of the firm.

The Role

As part of our team, you will manage a diverse, high level workload across commercial, property and succession law, with the autonomy to run your files and the backing of a supportive team. You will work closely with the Partners, contribute to the strategic and cultural development of the firm, and help shape how we work as we modernise our systems and service delivery.

In this role, you will:

- Manage complex matters across commercial, property and succession law.

- Run files autonomously and deliver high quality, practical advice.

- Supervise, mentor and develop junior solicitors and support staff, helping to build strong teams across the firm.

- Contribute to marketing and business development across the firm.

- Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships.

- Help modernise our systems, processes and service delivery.

This role is primarily based in our Fortitude Valley office, as working alongside our junior solicitors and support staff is central to how we mentor and develop our team. We are set up for remote access when circumstances require it, and we are open to discussing adaptable working arrangements with the right candidate.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- At least 4 years post admission experience (PAE), or Associate level and above.

- Strong technical capability in commercial, property and succession law.

- A proven ability to manage matters independently and to a high professional standard.

- Leadership capability, with experience in, or a strong interest in, supervising and mentoring junior staff.

- Commercial acumen and a genuine interest in helping the firm grow.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

- Alignment with the firm’s values, culture and long term vision.
