About the role

An exciting opportunity to join Jesuit Social Services in the position of People Capability and Projects Lead. This position will lead the implementation and continuous evolution of the organisation’s Recruitment, Induction and Development Strategy as well as other organisational strategies including our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and workplan. As well as this, the role will improve HR systems and processes in line with the organisation’s strategic plan.

This position is based at our Central Office in Richmond however travel to other sites may be required. The hours of the role are negotiable between 0.8FTE to full time.

About the program

Our People and Culture Directorate is located at Central Office, and is responsible for Human Resources & Payroll, Learning, Practice and Development Unit, Identity and Ethos, Governance and Quality.

About you

This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:

1.



Tertiary qualification/s and/or relevant experience in the Human Resource/organisational development field or similar;
2. Experience in the not for profit sector;
3. Demonstrated experience in people development, systems review, problem solving and strategy development;
4. Significant experience in the implementation of workforce leadership development processes;
5. Experience in leading and executing organisational wide strategies;
6. Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management;
7. Experience in facilitation of group training sessions or similar;
8. Ability to conduct oneself and undertake role responsibilities in a way which reflects and upholds the organisation’s identity and ethos (as encapsulated in our purpose, vision, mission and values).
9. Capacity to engage in reflective processes that are aimed at strengthening and deepening a collective commitment to the organisation’s identity and ethos.
