About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our dynamic and fast-paced workplace. Reporting directly to the Drafting Manager, you'll work collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals, with the flexibility to work from both our Port Melbourne office and remotely.

Key Responsibilities
Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Producing accurate working drawings using AutoCAD, including siting plans, floor plans, elevations, internal layouts, electrical plans, and façade details.

- Ensuring all drawings comply with Building Codes, Council, and Developer requirements.

- Reviewing site levels and designing site works.

- Interpreting and incorporating structural engineering and energy efficiency requirements.

- Liaising with internal teams, consultants, suppliers,



and planning authorities.

- Assisting with town planning documentation and Council submissions.

- Providing support on production and construction-related queries.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:

- A formal qualification in drafting (Diploma or higher).

- Experience in a similar drafting role, ideally within residential construction.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read and produce detailed working drawings.

- A solid understanding of the Building Regulations, Small Lot Housing Code, and NCC requirements.

- Strong analytical skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic.

- A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork.
