About the role

Edgelight designs, builds and installs custom LED lighting for Sydney's high-end events, brand activations, TV and film. We're looking for a hands-on LED technician to work directly alongside our two directors on installs across the Sydney event market.

Key responsibilities

- Installing, rigging and commissioning custom LED fixtures, pixel tape, light boxes and architectural lighting on site

- Building and prepping gear in our Brookvale workshop: soldering, wiring, testing and labelling

- Setting up and troubleshooting control systems (DMX, Art-Net, sACN, pixel controllers)

- Bump-ins and bump-outs at venues, studios and sets, often to tight deadlines

- Looking after our gear: maintenance, repairs and keeping the workshop organised

About you

- Experience in entertainment lighting, LED installation or AV work

- Comfortable with low-voltage LED electronics: voltage, power injection, data runs, soldering

- DMX and pixel control experience a big plus (Advatek, Enttec, Madrix, Casambi)





- White Card preferred; EWP licence an advantage, or training given to the right candidate

- Full driver's licence

- Reliable, tidy work, good attitude and problem-solving on the fly

- Versatile with hours: events mean early starts, late nights and some weekends
