This is a hands-on support role combining daily cleaning with general centre support. You will help our educators maintain a clean, organised and well-prepared workplace so they can focus their time on the children.

/nKey responsibilities /n
/n
/n
/n
- Daily cleaning and sanitising of classrooms, bathrooms, common areas and staff areas
/n
/n
- Vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins and cleaning high-touch surfaces
/n
/n
- Laundry, including washing, drying, folding and distributing linen
/n
/n
- Cleaning and sanitising toys, equipment, tables and other resources
/n
/n
- Loading/unloading the dishwasher and general kitchen clean-up
/n
/n
- Restocking nappies, wipes, gloves, paper products and other centre supplies
/n
/n
- Setting up and packing away beds, equipment and resources
/n
/n
- Tidying and resetting rooms ready for the following day
/n
/n
- Organising storerooms and unpacking deliveries
/n
/n
- Tidying outdoor areas and packing away outdoor equipment
/n
/n
/n
/nAbout you /n
/n
/n
/n
- Takes pride in maintaining exceptionally clean and organised spaces
/n
/n
- Is reliable, punctual and able to commit to the Monday-Friday roster
/n
/n
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
/n
/n
- Notices what needs to be done without always needing direction
/n
/n
- Is comfortable working in a busy early learning environment
/n
/n
- Is happy to assist with a variety of cleaning and centre support tasks
/n
/n
- Has previous cleaning, housekeeping or similar experience
/n
/n
- Must hold a current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
/n
