About the role

MJ Architectural Windows and Doors is seeking an experienced Carpenter/Installer to join our team at MJA Services on a full-time basis in Royal Park, SA 5014. This is a crucial position within our organisation, where you will be responsible for the installation and construction of high-quality architectural windows and doors for residential and commercial projects. As well as renovation and Building work. Your expertise and precision will directly impact the quality of our deliverables and the satisfaction of our clients, making this role integral to our continued success and reputation in the building trades industry.

Key responsibilities

- Carpentry and General building work

- Renovations, repairs and maintenance jobs

- Installing architectural windows and doors to specifications and building plans on residential and commercial sites

- Measuring and cutting materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish

- Using hand tools, power tools and specialist equipment safely and effectively

- Preparing installation sites and ensuring work areas are clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards

- Working collaboratively with other tradespeople and site managers to meet project deadlines

- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations

- Troubleshooting installation issues and making adjustments as necessary

- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

- Adhering to all relevant building codes, regulations and company procedures

What we're looking for

- Formal carpentry qualification or equivalent practical experience in window and door installation

- Strong knowledge of building materials, installation techniques and building regulations

- Proficiency with hand and power tools,



and familiarity with specialist installation equipment

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactions

- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to various job sites

- Commitment to health and safety standards and workplace compliance
