Role: Residential Cleaner – Aged Care
Wages: SCHADS Award Conditions
We currently have both Casual and Part Time opportunities available. We ask that applicants have broad availability; however, we are committed to offering flexibility and will work with you to accommodate your existing commitments.
About the role:
As a Residential Cleaner with Outlook, you will support older people to remain living independently in their own homes by providing high quality domestic assistance services. Duties include a range of household cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets and floors, dusting and wiping surfaces, mopping hard floor areas, cleaning bathrooms and toilets, cleaning kitchens including benches, sinks and appliances, emptying bins, and maintaining a clean, secure and hygienic home environment. Other general domestic duties may be required to support clients in maintaining their homes to a high standard. You will be responsible for delivering services in line with organisational policies and procedures while maintaining a qualified person centred approach. This is a rewarding role that makes a genuine difference in the lives of our clients.
What we are looking for:
- Experience providing domestic cleaning services, or experience in a role where maintaining cleanliness and hygiene was a key responsibility.
- A kind, compassionate and caring approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting older people to remain independent in their own homes.
- The ability to complete a range of household cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, emptying bins, and maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic home environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering a high standard of service.
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients while maintaining professionalism and respecting client choice, dignity and independence.
- Self motivation, a positive work ethic, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Smartphone and basic digital literacy to access schedules, complete required forms/training, and maintain accurate case notes using mobile aps
- Reliability, dependability, honesty and a commitment to safe work practices.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- The physical capability to safely undertake the demands of the role, including regular vacuuming, mopping, bending, lifting, carrying cleaning equipment and other manual cleaning tasks.

Successful applicants will have and/or undertake before commencing.
- National Police Check
- Current NSW Driver's Licence and reliable transport to travel between client services (travel reimbursement applies)
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Smartphone and basic digital literacy to access schedules, complete required forms and training, and maintain accurate case notes.
- Ability to work independently and travel throughout the local community
