As our civil portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team and help deliver projects that make a lasting impact across regional Queensland.

About the Role

As a Civil Project Manager at Newlands, you will lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects that create lasting value for our clients, communities and regional Queensland. You will work closely with project teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes while building strong relationships and driving project success.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the safe, profitable and successful delivery of projects from award through to completion

- Provide leadership, mentoring and support to Supervisors, Engineers and site teams

- Develop and manage project programs, budgets, forecasts and cost controls

- Manage subcontractor procurement, performance and relationships

- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and contractual requirements

- Build and maintain robust client and stakeholder relationships

- Identify and manage project risks,



variations and claims

- Promote a positive team culture and uphold Newlands' values on every project

About You

You are an experienced Civil Project Manager with a proven track record delivering civil infrastructure projects. You are commercially astute, highly organised and confident leading teams in a dynamic construction environment.

What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years’ experience as a Civil Project Manager or in a senior delivery role

- Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, bulk earthworks, utilities and subdivisions.

- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline

- Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability

- Proven leadership and team management skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to delivery

- White Card and current driver’s licence
