The role
Lead Subcontractor Teams Delivering Retaining Wall & Paving Projects Across Queensland
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hands-on Site Supervisor to join our Contracting Services team, managing the delivery of retaining wall and hardstand paving projects across Queensland.
Based at our Stapylton Masonry plant on the Gold Coast, this role is ideally suited to someone with a solid construction, structural landscaping, civil, or trade background who is ready to step off the tools and into a site supervisor position.
Working with Adbri Masonry's industry-leading retaining wall and paving product range, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing subcontract installation crews, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
Reporting to the Queensland State Manager - Contracting Services, you will join an experienced team of site supervisors and engineers supporting civil projects throughout Queensland.

Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-start site inspections and assess project requirements prior to commencement.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractor crews installing concrete sleeper retaining walls, segmental block retaining walls and hardstand paving projects.
- Manage day-to-day project delivery, including scheduling, materials, site coordination and cost control.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract specifications,
quality standards and customer expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors and key project stakeholders.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with all site, safety and company requirements.
- Deliver product, installation and safety training to improve subcontractor capability and performance.
- Assist in identifying new project opportunities and promoting Adbri Masonry's Contracting Services and product range.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes, products and customer outcomes.
What you will need to succeed
- Previous experience in construction, structural landscaping, civil works, retaining walls or related trades.
- Experience leading crews, supervising subcontractors or coordinating construction projects.
- Strong understanding of retaining wall construction, paving installation and general site construction practices.
- Ability to read plans, manage project schedules and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A practical and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service.
- A willingness to develop professionally and progress within the business.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a geographically diverse team.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Queensland and occasionally interstate.
