Shamrock Recruitment is partnering with an established national insurance building company to recruit an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction operations across Australia.

Our client has a strong reputation within the insurance industry, specialising in complex commercial claims, major loss projects and large scale insurance reinstatement works. Working closely with insurers, brokers and loss adjusters, they deliver construction solutions across a diverse range of commercial and industrial properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction leader to take ownership of national project delivery, drive operational performance and lead construction teams across multiple states. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee national construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard

- Provide leadership, guidance and support to regional construction managers, project managers,



supervisors and wider construction teams

- Manage the successful delivery of complex commercial insurance reinstatement projects, including major and large loss claims

- Develop and implement consistent construction processes, operational procedures and performance standards across all states

- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, subcontractors and other key stakeholders

- Monitor project performance, financial outcomes, resource allocation and operational risks while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

- Extensive experience in construction management, ideally within insurance building, commercial construction or major loss reinstatement

- Proven experience leading construction operations across multiple regions or states, with the ability to manage geographically dispersed teams

- Strong technical understanding of commercial building, complex reinstatement works, construction methodologies and project delivery

- Demonstrated ability to manage large construction budgets, project profitability, operational performance and commercial risk

- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop teams and build relationships with senior stakeholders

- Strong understanding of Australian building regulations, construction compliance, workplace health and safety requirements and industry standards
