About the Role:

As a claims analyst, you will be supporting the broader Finance function by managing customer claims processing within the SAP TM system and ensuring accurate and consistent Trade Spend reconciliation across systems and financial statements.

Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, you will play an important role in maintaining data integrity and supporting reliable financial reporting and business decision-making. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to accuracy and consistency.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity, with the potential for future opportunities depending on business needs.

Main Responsibilities: Customer Claims Management

- Manage customer trade claims, including promotional invoices, credit notes and deductions, from validation through to approval and posting in SAP TM.
- Ensure claims are accurate, appropriately documented and aligned with contractual terms and company guidelines.
- Partner with Sales,



Trade Marketing and Accounts Receivable to resolve discrepancies, reconcile deductions and ensure timely clearing of outstanding items.
- Monitor claims, identify potential risks and drive improvements to further streamline and centralise claims activities within Finance.

Trade Spend Reconciliation
- Manage Trade Spend reconciliations across SAP ECC, SAP TM and HFM, ensuring accurate P&L; and Balance Sheet reporting.
- Monitor financial postings and investigate and resolve discrepancies across systems, accounts and reporting lines.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and provide explicit variance analysis and explanations to the Sales Controller and Controlling team.
- Partner with Accounts Receivable, Sales and Trade Marketing to maintain data accuracy and alignment across Finance processes.

Finance & Process Excellence
- Support month-end close by providing accurate reconciliations and clear explanations of balances.
- Contribute to internal and external audits relating to Trade Spend and customer claims.
- Drive opportunities to streamline and automate claims and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls and company procedures.

About You:

You're a detail-oriented and commercially minded Finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and improving the way things are done.



You will bring:

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years' experience in Finance or Accounting, ideally within an FMCG or multinational environment.
- Knowledge of Trade Spend processes and SAP, with SAP ECC and SAP TM experience highly regarded.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
- A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- The ambition and drive to make an impact and contribute to continuous improvement.
