The role
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic recruitment agency team. This is a full-time position based in Central Perth area, offering an exciting opportunity to specialise in the mining and resources sector.

As a Mining Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in connecting top-tier professionals with leading organisations across the mining industry, whilst building and maintaining a strong network of candidates and clients.

This role offers the chance to develop expertise in one of Australia's most significant industries and contribute to the growth and success of our recruitment operations.

Key responsibilities

- Sourced and attracted mining professionals through targeted campaigns, networking and industry connections

- Assessed candidates via interviews and skills evaluations to match client needs

- Built and maintained a database of mining candidates across disciplines and levels

- Developed relationships with mining companies and stakeholders to understand hiring needs

- Managed the end-to-end placement process, from candidate presentation to offer

- Negotiated terms between candidates and employers

- Delivered strong service to clients and candidates throughout the process

- Consistently met and exceeded recruitment targets and KPIs

- Stayed current on mining trends, regulations and labour market changes

- Contributed to recruitment strategies and marketing to win current business

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a recruitment consultant, preferably within the mining, resources or construction sectors

- Preferred understanding of mining industry roles, skills requirements and career progression paths

- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders





- Demonstrated ability to achieve recruitment targets and manage multiple placements simultaneously

- Proficiency with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS) like JobAdder or PageUp or JobAdder will be a plus
