Full Job Description
Location: North Ryde, NSW
Salary Package: $170,000 package

Role Highlights:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support multiple business divisions with financial planning, reporting and accounting requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing month-end processes, reviewing financial reports and journal entries, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and ensuring accurate intercompany and tax-related reporting. You will also lead and develop a team, provide financial guidance to divisional stakeholders, support senior finance leadership with key projects, and drive effective business partnering and continuous improvement across the finance function.

The Role:

- Oversee fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and review month-end accounting activities, reporting and financial deliverables across multiple business divisions.
- Review, prepare and post journal entries, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
- Oversee the review of tax-sensitive accounts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution.




- Monitor and review intercompany settlements to maintain accurate financial reporting.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and ongoing support to divisional finance teams as required.
- Review monthly and year-end financial reporting and taxation packages to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of five direct reports, supporting performance, capability and continuous improvement.
- Assist senior finance leadership with key projects, business initiatives and process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with divisional stakeholders, providing effective financial business partnering across the organisation.
- Provide operational support across the finance function when required, alongside ad hoc analysis and project work.

About You:

We are looking for a qualified Financial Business Partner who is confident managing financial accounting processes, meeting month-end deadlines and working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple business divisions.

- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar discipline.
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial business partner role.
- Strong experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations,



general ledger journals, and month-end accounts.
- Experience preparing financial reporting packs and working within structured reporting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate variances, identify issues and resolve outstanding reconciliation items.
- Experience using SAP is essential.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities during month-end and year-end periods.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across finance teams.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with an interest in improving reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial controls.
- The ability to balance attention to detail with a broader understanding of business requirements.
- Tableau and CI experience will be highly regarded.
