Irrigation Installer/Technician

Water Plus Irrigation is a locally owned and long-established Shepparton business specialising in the supply, installation and servicing of irrigation, pumping and water systems across agricultural, commercial and residential markets.

We’re growing, and we’re looking for another person to join our Field Crew.

About the role

This is a full-time, hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, likes physical work and wants to be part of a great team.

You'll work alongside experienced members of our field team installing and maintaining irrigation and pumping systems throughout the Goulburn Valley and surrounding areas.

Your work will include:

- Installing irrigation, pumping and sprinkler systems

- Installing pipework, valves and associated equipment

- Trenching, laying pipe and assembling irrigation systems

- Installing wireless radio telemetry irrigation control & monitoring systems

- Assisting with servicing, repairs and maintenance

- Working on farms, orchards, commercial sites and other projects

- Using hand and power tools as well as excavators and trenchers

There's plenty of variety, and you'll have the prospect to develop a broad range of practical and technical skills.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

- Enjoys working outdoors and doing physical, hands-on work

- Is prepared to work outside in a range of weather conditions

- Is reliable and turns up ready to work





- Takes pride in doing a job properly

- Is willing to learn and develop new skills

- Works well as part of a crew

- Has a positive attitude and can have a laugh while still getting the job done

- Holds a current driver's licence

Previous irrigation, plumbing, landscaping, construction, farming or other trade-related experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. School leavers are also encouraged to apply.
