12-hour rotating Day & Night roster

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters and Maintenance Electricians to join an established food manufacturing operation in Harvey, Western Australia.

These are excellent opportunities for skilled tradespeople looking for competitive earning potential, overtime opportunities and a hands-on role maintaining production equipment within a large industrial setting.

What’s on Offer?

- Maintenance Fitters: $148,665 + super per annum.
- Maintenance Electricians: $148,665 + $4,160 annual electrician allowance + super.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x for the first two hours, then 2x thereafter.
- Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, 5am–5pm / 5pm–5am.
- Structured roster providing regular blocks of time off.
- Join an established maintenance team within a large manufacturing operation.

The Roster

A rotating three-week roster:

- Week 1: 2 day shifts, 3 night shifts, 2 days off.
- Week 2: 2 days off, 3 day shifts, 2 night shifts.
- Week 3: 5 days off, 2 day shifts.

About the Roles

As part of the maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment and machinery operate safely, efficiently and reliably.

Maintenance Fitters – Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns.




- Maintain conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings and associated production machinery.
- Assist with equipment overhauls, repairs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet workplace health and safety requirements.

Maintenance Electricians – Key Responsibilities

- Perform electrical fault finding and breakdown maintenance.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on production machinery and electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults across motors, sensors, control systems and associated equipment.
- Support equipment reliability, repairs and continuous improvement.
- Ensure electrical work complies with safety standards and site procedures.

About You

- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or Electrician.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance or a similar production environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working a rotating 12-hour day/night roster.
- Safety-focused with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Reliable, adaptable and able to work effectively within a team.
