Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist | Residential Aged Care

$40–$60 per hour | Full-time, part-time or casual

Intrinsic Health is looking for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Residential Aged Care team in Rockhampton.

Whether you’re an experienced clinician or a new graduate finding your feet, you’ll work alongside people who know their stuff and are happy to share it.

You’ll support older adults to stay safe, active, independent and involved in the things that matter to them.

What your day might look like

Depending on your discipline and caseload, you may be:

- Supporting chronic disease and injury management

- Completing functional, manual handling and initial assessments

- Working on falls prevention and risk management

- Prescribing equipment

- Delivering exercise and re-enablement programs

- Attending clinical meetings and case conferences

- Supporting clinical staff training

- Working alongside other allied health professionals in residential aged care

There’s also scope to build a private caseload and community referrals over time.

So if you like a role with variety, but not the kind where you spend half the week wondering what your actual job is, this could suit you nicely.

What you’ll need

- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy

- Current AHPRA General Registration

- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain

- Police Check completed within the last 3 months, or willingness to obtain

- Current influenza and COVID vaccination evidence

- Full Australian working rights

- Medicare Provider Number, or willingness to obtain
