We're partnering with a leading renewable energy business seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their Sydney CBD team on a 12-month temp basis.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll support a broad range of financial accounting and reporting activities, with exposure to multiple entities and large-scale renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations and journals across multiple entities.
- Manage intercompany accounting and investigate variances.
- Support statutory reporting, audit and tax requirements.
- Work closely with the asset management team on the financial side of projects.
- Provide accounting support to the wider finance team and business stakeholders.
- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis and process improvements.
- Use SAP across day-to-day accounting and reporting activities.
About You
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion.
- 3–5 years' experience in a commercial or Business Services environment.
- Strong financial accounting and month-end experience.
- Renewable energy, infrastructure or project accounting experience would be advantageous.
