Your new role
Working closely with Financial Advisers and clients, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end administrative and operational support across the client life cycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing client enquiries and administrative requests
- Preparing and processing new account documentation and client onboarding
- Maintaining client records in line with AML/CTF and KYC requirements
- Supporting account maintenance, asset transfers and cash movements
- Assisting with corporate actions, dividend reinvestments and stock settlements
- Preparing portfolio reports, valuations and client documentation
- Supporting compliance and regulatory obligations across client portfolios
- Coordinating client events and stakeholder communications
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and driving operational efficiencies
What you'll need to succeed
This is a fast-paced and varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working in a client-focused environment where attention to detail and proactive problem solving are highly valued. To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience within wealth management, financial planning, financial services operations or professional services
- Strong understanding of the financial advice process and investment products
- Knowledge of KYC, AML/CTF and client account administration
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
- A proactive mindset with a strong customer service focus
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business or Accounting will be highly regarded. Industry qualifications such as RG146 will also be viewed favourably.
