Emerging Futures Collaborative Limited (EFCL) is a not-for-profit organisation, established to support and serve Religious Institutes in transition across Australia. These Religious Institutes are known as our Service Partners.

Our services include transition support, health and wellbeing coordination, administration and community coordination.
We are seeking a driven Community Administrator to join our team to help support one of our Service Partners, The Presentation Sisters Lismore.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to use your administration and business support skills in a values-led environment.
Reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a key role in delivering quality administrative support to the Sisters, both individually and as a community.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Sisters with their telecommunication issues, travel arrangements, banking, credit cards, vehicle and other service and maintenance needs
- Providing general office support including records management, collection and distribution of mail, and storage and retrieval of archival materials
- Supporting business and financial functions, including accurately and efficiently processing financial transactions and maintaining financial records in MYOB
- Undertaking bank and credit card reconciliations and accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with the coordination of meetings, jubilees, birthdays and other events.
The role is a permanent part-time position, 22.8 hours a week,
ideally to be worked over three or four days and is based in office at our office in East Lismore.
About You
You are a self-starter with a flexible approach to work and have a genuine desire to be of service to others. You thrive on working in a fluid environment and where no two days are the same.
Specifically, as the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Extensive experience in administrative, executive assistant and/or financial support roles
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, written and verbal communication and listening skills
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in working with the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel) and experience using MYOB or similar accounting software
- Strong time-management and organisational skills, ability to multitask and attention to detail
- Ability to act with empathy and genuine interest in those you are assisting and to maintain tact, discretion and confidentiality.
It would be an advantage if you also have:
- Experience in a service delivery environment such as a social service or aged care agency
- Experience working with religious institutes and their members.
