Barigan Creek / Mudgee Region – Central West NSW
Approx. 3 Months | 5–6 Days Per Week

NOW Energy is seeking experienced civil construction workers to join a crew working on the Central-West Orana project at Barigan Creek, approximately 40 minutes from Mudgee.
We are particularly interested in hearing from local workers across Mudgee and surrounding Central West communities who are looking to work on a major project within their region.
The scope of works will involve excavation and installation of underground conduits and cable pits, and we are currently looking to build an experienced 4–6 person civil crew.

Roles Available

Excavator Operators $44PH – 8T & 14T

- Strong civil excavation and trenching experience
- Conduit and cable pit excavation experience highly regarded
- Experience working around underground services
- RII competency or Statement of Attainment (SOA) for Excavator (LE)
- Experience operating 8T and/or 14T excavators

Skilled Pipe Layers / Civil Labourers $40PH

- Previous civil construction experience
- Underground conduit and pipe installation
- Trenching and trench preparation
- Cable/conduit pulling and installation
- Pit installation and associated works
- Backfilling and compaction
- Trench roller / whacker packer experience advantageous

HR Truck Driver / Water Cart Operator $42

- Current HR Licence




- Previous civil construction experience
- Water cart experience highly regarded
- Willing and able to assist the civil crew with general duties when required

Essential Requirements All workers will require a White Card, relevant licences/tickets for their role, demonstrated civil construction experience, reliable transport and the ability to work 5–6 days per week.

A Category 3 Medical is required prior to mobilisation. If you have completed a Cat 3 or equivalent medical within the previous 12 months, please provide the details when applying so its suitability can be confirmed.

Local Workers & LAFHA Mudgee and surrounding Central West locals are strongly encouraged to apply.

For suitable workers who live more than approximately one hour from site, $200 per day LAFHA is available.

Workers receiving LAFHA will be required to source and arrange their own accommodation, with Mudgee approximately 40 minutes from site.
