ARIES RAIL/GTB ARIES are an Australian leader in the manufacture of custom automotive bodies and Hyrail vehicle conversions.

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Fabricator / Component Fitter to join our team at our Brendale facility.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual who takes pride in their workmanship, has a strong eye for detail and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

This is a great opportunity for someone with welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting skills who enjoys working in a practical, team-oriented environment.

About the Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for fabricating, fitting and assembling bodies, components and related equipment to ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and to the required specifications & client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out welding, fabrication and repair work as required.

- Fit, assemble and install bodies, components and associated equipment.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements and specifications.

- Prepare materials and components for welding and assembly.

- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.

- Identify and report damaged, faulty or non-conforming components.

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.





- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production schedules and deadlines.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Experience in welding, steel fabrication, component assembly/fitting.

- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

- Positive problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A reliable attitude and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

- Relevant welding or trade qualifications, or equivalent practical experience.
