We're looking for experienced Underground HD Fitters to join our high performing underground mining team in supporting a hard-rock mining operation in regional NSW.
As part of the maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the fleet of heavy plant is maintained to a high standard for safe operations, including breakdown maintenance and scheduled workshop maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain a range of mobile plant & equipment:
- Underground trucks – Sandvik TH633i
- Loaders (Boggers) – Sandvik LH517i
- Development Jumbos – DD421-60C
- Production drills – Epiroc Simba E7C
- Cable bolters -Sandvik DS421
Follow all site safety procedures and protocols and contribute to a positive and proactive team culture.
About You
It's essential that you have each of the following:
- An HV/HD Fitter trade qualification
- A minimum of 2 years’ post trade experience working with heavy equipment
- Proven experience in an underground hard rock mining environment
- Proven experience maintaining the mobile plant as listed above
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- A strong safety focus
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Strong communication skills
- A valid Australian driver's licence
- A strong work ethic combined with a reliable and adaptable approach
- The ability to work on a rotating 7/7 days and nights roster
