What does the job look like?

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to lead our multi-user operation in Altona. This is a key leadership role responsible for the safe, efficient and commercially effective delivery of warehouse and storage operations across multiple customer contracts. You will lead operational performance while building strong customer relationships, developing your leadership team and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, service and commercial outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

- Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring optimal productivity and resource efficiency.
- Lead and embed a high-performance safety culture, maintaining compliance and driving continuous improvement.
- Deliver exceptional service across multiple customer accounts.
- Take accountability for P&L; performance, budgets, resource planning and initiatives that improve cost and commercial outcomes.
- Foster a positive, productive work culture with 4 direct reports
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, resolve service issues, and drive business growth.
- Lead, motivate, and develop your team, supporting ongoing training, succession planning, and performance management.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced logistics leader who is comfortable managing a complex warehouse environment while balancing customer, people, safety and commercial priorities. You bring a hands-on leadership style,



strong customer focus and the ability to drive sustainable operational performance. You can demonstrate:

- Extensive knowledge of warehouse in large-scale settings.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with a keen eye for analytics.
- Proven experience in developing and leading CI/Lean programs across warehousing and transport.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining high-performance teams and culture.
- Engagement with key stakeholders regarding budget, resource, and capital planning, as well as key performance reporting and analysis to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- High-level negotiation and communication skills with staff and third parties, including unions.
- Ability to achieve and drive financial plans and operational targets.
