Australian owned and operated, Bonney Energy operates across Tasmania and Victoria and is a premier distributor of Ampol trusted fuel and lubricant products.

The company’s head office is located in Quoiba near Devonport, on the North West Coast of Tasmania, with our other Tasmanian branch office in Launceston. We are also located in Regional Victoria, with offices located in Newport, Melbourne and Corio, as well as seven other depots located across the state.

About the role:

This position starts with understanding Bonney Energy immediate and long-term vision and consulting with leadership team to develop the strategy that drives us to our stated goals and objectives to shape our future across digital, traditional marketing, social media, and creative, to drive impactful strategies.

You are a strong communicator with a deep understanding of marketing & communications, we’ll value your ability to innovate, boost engagement, and deliver results. This role is ideal for a skilled marketer who thrives on rolling up their sleeves and delivering exceptional results, combining strategic thinking with practical implementation.

Brand Management & Strategic Marketing

· Develop and implement marketing and communications strategy.

· Maintain and strengthen Bonney Energy and Bonney’s Local brands.

· Ensure brand consistency across all channels.

· Support new business initiatives and product launches.

Digital Marketing & Communications

· Manage website, social media and digital content.

· Coordinate EDM campaigns and customer communications.

· Manage paid and organic digital campaigns.

· Monitor online reputation and Google Business profiles.

Campaigns, Promotions & Sales Support

· Develop promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing initiatives.

· Support sales teams with marketing collateral and communication tools.





· Coordinate suppliers, agencies and promotional materials.

Events, Sponsorships & Community Engagement

· Coordinate participation in Agfest, Farm World and other industry events.

· Manage sponsorship programs and community partnerships.

· Measure event and sponsorship outcomes.

Internal Communications & Leadership

· Lead internal communications and employee engagement activities.

· Collaborate with executive leadership and operational teams.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline.

· Minimum five years experience in marketing, communications or brand management.

· Strong digital marketing, content management and stakeholder engagement capability.

· Experience managing events, sponsorships and budgets.

· Excellent written communication, analytical and project management skills.
