What we're looking for:
This position will provide administrative, marketing and supporter care support across Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney's Fundraising & Partnerships team.
The role supports fundraising, partnerships and marketing initiatives through day-to-day social media management, communications, supporter care, database administration and general team support. As a key frontline representative of the organisation, the role helps create positive experiences for donors, supporters and visitors to the House.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage day-to-day social media content, scheduling, publishing and community engagement.
- Assist with updates across digital platforms, including the website, Funraisin, social media channels and internal digital screens
- Provide excellent customer service and supporter care via inbound and outbound phone calls, shared email inboxes and donor visits
- Assist with the creation and distribution of email communications and newsletters through Campaign Monitor
- Help maintain, update and create marketing collateral and resources
- Support the Marketing & Communications team as needed, including during campaign periods, such as McHappy Day.
- Assist with grant administration, reporting and research activities.
- Provide practical administrative support that helps the Fundraising, Partnerships and Marketing & Communications teams work effectively.
- Maintain accurate donor, fundraising, corporate and partnership records in Salesforce, safeguarding data integrity across Salesforce, Campaign Monitor and other fundraising platforms.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is inspired by our mission and actively wants to contribute to the values held by our team.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an administration, customer service, fundraising, marketing or communications setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing social media channels and digital content.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to support a broad range of team activities.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector (desirable)
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform (desirable)
- Experience using Campaign Monitor, Canva and Meta Business Suite (desirable)
- Experience supporting fundraising, events, partnerships, marketing or communications activities (desirable)
