We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Services Manager who takes pride in their work and is ready to step into a rewarding leadership role with genuine career progression opportunities.
About the Role
Working closely with clients across a broad range of industries, you will play a key role in delivering high quality accounting, taxation, and advisory services while mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
Managing client bookkeeping requirements
Providing taxation advice and business growth strategies
Financial modelling, forecasting, and budget preparation
Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior accountants
Building and maintaining solid client relationships
General accounting and taxation support as required
About You To be successful in this role we require a proactive and personable accounting professional who enjoys both technical work and client interaction. Previous experience in a public practice accounting firm is essential.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 4 years’ experience within a public practice accounting firm
Robust knowledge of:
Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
GST
Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT)
Corporations Law
Experience across a variety of accounting software packages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude and professional approach
