Our Wetherhill Park Transitair division is a key HVAC+R equipment, overhaul, service and parts supplier to major Rail Transport authorities in NSW and we are seeking to employ a Trade Assistant to be trained in this field.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will beworking closely with our team of qualified technicians assisting with technical services to transport refrigeration/air conditioning equipment.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Trade Assistants - HVAC to join us at SSG.The position involves the installation and commissioning of recent rail HVAC equipment at our ‘Up-to-date’ workshop based in our Wetherhill Park, NSW site or onsite at our customers' facilities.





You must have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn our multi-skilled trade.

The skills and experience that will see you succeed in the role-
Power and Hand tool experience
Knowledge of the HVAC, electrical & refrigeration systems would be an advantage
Work as a member of a team
Good workmanship with thorough attention to detail.
Possess initiative and have a strong work ethic
Take pride in your work
Neat presentation and be punctual
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
Your own tools (hand and power tools)
