We are currently looking for a Practice Nurse on a Permanent Part Time basis to join our Medical Practice.

Our practice provides a friendly, adaptable work environment with ongoing training support and prospect for career development.

Essential Criteria:
Must have current unconditional registration with AHPRA
Registered Nurse or Medically endorsed Enrolled Nurse
Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organizational and time management skills
Have experience in a fast-paced, multiple practitioner environment
Must be available to work all shifts between 8:30 am and 5.30 pm Monday & Wednesday to Friday
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service
Well developed computer skills
Excellent work ethic with a demonstrable ability to be reliable, flexible and a team-player
Previous experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting desired

Beneficial Experience
Care Plans and Health Assessments (must have extensive experience in these)
Triage
Immunisation management
Wound management
Diagnostic procedures e.g. ECG
Assisting doctors with surgical procedures e.g. dressing, excisions, iron infusion




Stock management
Cold chain management
Immunisation competencies and knowledge of vaccinations
Duties will include (but not limited to)

patient triaging
wound care / dressings
childhood immunisation
cold chain management
knowledge of travel vaccination
ECG's, spirometry
assisting doctors with minor procedures
coordinating the patient recall and reminder system
implementing practice infection control and sterilization
managing and ordering of clinical supplies
general treatment room duties
