The Receptionist is the first point of contact for all patients, families, suppliers, and visitors attending Sydney West Occupational Hub. This role ensures a welcoming, organised, and effective clinic workplace. The Receptionist provides high-quality customer service, manages front-of-house operations, supports clinical staff, and performs a range of administrative duties in accordance with clinic policies and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Front-of-House & Patient Interaction
Greet and direct all patients and visitors professionally.
Explain paperwork, consent forms, and patient rights.
Answer incoming calls using qualified telephone etiquette.
Assist patients with enquiries and appointment confirmations.
Appointment & Schedule Management
Manage clinic schedules and ensure smooth flow between staff.
Update appointments accurately when changes occur.
Administrative & Operational Duties
Perform filing, scanning, faxing, and data entry.
Maintain and safeguard patient records.
Prepare orientation and onboarding materials.
Support invoicing, receipting, and payment processing.
Maintain cleanliness and supply levels at reception
-Best Practice experience will be an added advantage
Pay: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
