We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a team in Silverwater. This is a hands-on role responsible for financial reporting, month-end processes, accounts receivable, cash flow and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage month-end/year-end journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
Manage accounts receivable, credit control, collections and aged debtors.
Monitor cash flow, forecasting and working capital.
Manage credit card reconciliations and fixed asset registers.
Prepare weekly/monthly management reports and financial analysis.
Assist with tax compliance, statutory reporting and external audits.
Identify prospects to improve accounting processes,
controls and reporting.
About You
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
Proven Senior Accountant or similar experience.
Robust knowledge of month-end, reconciliations, AR and financial reporting.
Experience with cash flow, fixed assets and lease accounting.
Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems.
Robust analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
