CEA Consolidated Industries is seeking experienced Metal Fabricators / Welders to join our team in Coolaroo, Victoria. This full-time position is an integral part of our manufacturing team, specifically within the Welders & Boilermakers sub-industry.
What you'll be doing
Fabricating steel structures and components to accurate specifications
Performing various welding techniques to join metal parts
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Operating mechanical equipment such as grinders, power tools and cutting machines
Collaborating with the production team to ensure timely delivery of projects
Maintaining a safe and organised work setting
Continuously improving processes and workflows
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a steel fabricator or welder, ideally within the manufacturing industry
Robust knowledge of welding techniques and equipment,
including MIG, TIG and stick welding
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Proficient in the use of power tools, cutting equipment and other fabrication machinery
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Forklift, confined space, HRW licences is advantageous
Site R&M;/fabrication experience desirable
Immediate start
Full-time position - 38 hr week
7:00am to 3.05pm Monday to Thursday
7:00am to 3.30pm Friday
Optional Saturdays (when available)
