The Duke of Dural in our upmarket boutique pub group is on the hunt for an Assistant Venue Manager or experienced Duty Manager.

Who We're Looking For -

These roles suit hospitality professionals who thrive in agile, fast-paced environments and know how to lead by example. You’ll be hands-on, solutions-focused, and ready to take the reins in managing an entire venue.

Role Requirements -
Previous experience in pubs in Sydney (equivalent to the role you are applying for)
Solid background in food, beverage, gaming, tab, keno and functions
Strong understanding of NSW liquor and gaming compliance
Demonstrated financial and operational acumen (including wage control, stock, invoices (Lightyear) and supplier management)
Proven ability to train, roster (Deputy preferred), lead and mentor a team
Hands-on experience with POS (Bepoz preferred), reporting, and daily cash handling
A commitment to compliance, maintenance and policy adherence
Experience in gaming systems e.g. Global, S7000




Ability to build community rapport and deliver outstanding customer service
Full availability to work across rotating rosters including weekends and evenings
Full working rights in Australia
