The Education & Technology Sciences Attaché of The Embassy of United Arab Emirates in Canberra oversees and deliver excellence in services and care for the UAE scholarship students in Australia and Recent Zealand and build long term relationships with Australian and Recent Zealand educational institutions.
The Education & Technology Sciences Attaché is seeking the service of a talented, highly motivated Accountant. Duties include and not limited to:
Processing daily invoices on Oracle and MYOB financial systems.
Monthly general ledger and bank reconciliation process, including processing all transactions and journals.
Preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Monthly general ledger and bank reconciliation process, including processing all transactions and journals.
Process all PAYG Tax withheld, Payroll, annual leave,
and superannuation payments transactional requirements.
Perform the necessary Auditing, Reporting, and budget forecast.
Follow the UAE procedures & laws relating to financial matters and service contracts.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following personal qualities, skills, and experience:
Speak, read, and write fluent Arabic and English.
Master or BSc Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
High competency in accounting and financial applications and software.
Familiar with all aspects of the accounting process and be able to drive processes and strategy with your financial knowledge.
Flexibility to work under pressure and to respond quickly to recent demands.
