The Love Family Trust is looking for reliable and hardworking full time Avocado Farm Workers to join its busy avocado farm.
The successful applicants will assist with the day-to-day care and maintenance of the avocado orchard, including:
Pest management and monitoring of crops as required.
Cultivation of soil in readiness for planting and general soil preparation.
Pruning and general maintenance of avocado trees.
Irrigation and general maintenance of irrigation systems.
Assist with supervising and training seasonal workers from time to time as required during farm operations.
Qualifications and requirements
All relevant experience will be considered – at least 3 years of experience is required.
Previous experience in avocado farming, horticulture or general farm work will be highly regarded.
A positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to work reliably both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding farm duties, including working in varying weather conditions.
Salary
The annual salary is $65,000–$75,000, commensurate with the successful applicant's skills, qualifications and experience.
